We depart our homes and head north to Scotland with a meal stop on the way. We arrive at the Alexandra Hotel in Fort William where we have time to settle in before our evening meal. We enjoy a day at leisure and two full day excursions to include a round train journey to Mallaig, regarded as one of the worlds greatest train journeys with views of Ben Nevis. We also visit Spean Bridge and the listed Commando Memorial before heading on to Loch Garry, Glen Moriston and along the shore of Loch Ness to Fort Augustus with time to explore.
