Based in the second largest city in Wales, Swansea. Our full packed tour includes something for everyone. Wales is a must-see place to visit with its sweeping waterfront and spectacular views. We enjoy scenic rail journeys, Gardens, Whiskey tasting and coastal towns. We are back with the ideally placed Grand Hotel.

We leave Lancashire stopping en route for breakfast, and refreshments. We head to Llanelli late afternoon with time to relax before our evening meal. This year we have 3 days out on this tour. Our first heads southwest to the City of Swansea where there is free time to explore the city. Maybe taking a stroll on Swansea beachfront, visit the National Waterfront Museum or observe art in the Glynn Vivian Gallery. We then make our way to Swansea Marina for a relaxing cruise on the river Tawne. In the afternoon, we travel to the international award-winning National Botanic Garden of Wales to enjoy an inspiring range of themed gardens that incorporate a blend of the modern and historical, all set in a Regency landscape with Lord Fosters Glass House as the centre piece. Another day takes us north-east to the small village of Pant where we board the Brecon Mountain Railway, one of the Great Little Trains of Wales. We take a scenic ride through the Brecon Beacons National Park - a highlight being Ponsticill Reservoir. Following our train journey, we enjoy lunch in Brecon before making the journey to Penderyn Distillery -home to Wales most famous whiskey. Here you will enjoy a guided tour of the distillery followed by a tasting of some Penderyn Whiskey. Our final day out is west to the popular small seaside resort of Saundersfoot. We stay awhile with time to explore the little harbour, before leaving for the short ride to Tenby. With two superb beaches, the old town walls, interesting little side streets and alleyways to explore, Tenby is Southwest Waless main holiday resort. After breakfast on our final day, we leave the hotel and head home with refreshment and lunch stops on the way.
