01254 872000The Pembrokeshire Coast is Britain's only coastal national park, offering some of Europe's most beautiful cliff scenery and dramatic islands rich in wildlife. Glorious sandy beaches and seemingly endless rugged coastline give way to the Preseli Hills, historic towns and little villages. Inland, this pretty corner of west Wales is a patchwork of rolling valleys, rugged hilltops and sleepy villages.

We journey to our hotel with breakfast on the way. On this holiday we enjoy three full day excursions to include the popular holiday resort of Tenby - considered the main holiday resort of Southwest Wales. With two superb beaches, old town walls, interesting little side streets and alleyways to explore, Tenby is always a pleasant and friendly place to visit. We have time for here before we are on our way to Picton Castle and Woodland Garden where we have a guided tour of the castle and time to enjoy the gardens and galleries. Regarded as Pembrokeshires finest stately home and garden, Picton is situated close to the estuary of the Cleddau River, not far from Haverfordwest. It is one of the most beautiful gardens and grounds to visit in West Wales. Another day takes us south through Kidwelly to the picture postcard resort of Mumbles, delightfully located on Swansea Bay. We have time for a look around and to obtain lunch. This afternoon we have a short drive to the Gower Heritage Centre at Parkmill. Here we meet our guide for a tour of the beautiful unspoilt scenery of the Gower Peninsula, designated an Area of outstanding natural beauty. After the tour, we return to the Heritage Centre and enjoy a Gower Cream Tea. The final day out takes us via St Brides Bay and Newgale Sands to the magical place of St. Davids - birthplace of the patron saint of Wales. St. Davids has a beautiful cathedral, the smallest in Great Britain, which is well worth a visit. From St. Davids we head around the Preseli Mountains back to the hotel for the evening. We also enjoy a day at leisure to explore the immediate area surrounding the hotel located in the market town of Carmarthen. After breakfast on the final day, we travel the short journey, stopping en route for a meal stop, arriving in Lancashire in time to meet our taxis home.
