Outward Journey

We have lunch incuded on our outward journey and arrive at our hotel with time to freshen up before our evening meal.

Our Days Out

Our holiday includes a guided tour of The Rosslyn Chapel, made famous by the Da Vinci code and Holy Grail connection.

We will visit Abbotsford, the home of Sir Walter Scott.

Another excursion sees the Falkirk Wheel, the world’s first and only rotating boat lift; this excursion also includes a boat trip with the afternoon at the amazing Kelpies.

Our half day heads to the New Lanark visitor centre, which tells the fascinating story of the cotton mill village of New Lanark, which was founded in the 18th century. Here we enjoy the Annie McLeod Experience, Textile Machinery Exhibition, Rooftop Garden and Robert Owen’s School for Children.

We have a free afternoon in the Royal Burgh of Peebles.

Return Journey

Our return journey home will include a refreshment stop.
