Outward Journey

Your outward journey starts at Accrington Stanley meeting our coach. We head to North Devon with a breakfast stop on the way and light refreshments later in the journey.

Our Days Out

Discover the beauty of the North Devon coast with time in the bustling village of Braunton, known for its independent shops and cafés, before continuing to the popular seaside resort of Woolacombe, renowned for its sweeping beach and stunning coastal scenery.

A scenic drive through Exmoor National Park before our excursion takes us to the twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, where dramatic coastal views, riverside scenery and traditional village charm await. Ride the water powered Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway one of the best historic attractions in the UK.

Enjoy a free day at leisure to explore Ilfracombe, from its picturesque harbour and seafront to its independent shops, cafés and coastal walks.

We also enjoy time in Barnstaple, North Devon's historic market town, followed by an afternoon visit to Bideford, a delightful riverside town with a rich maritime heritage.

Spend the morning at the RHS Garden Rosemoor,(4 Hours) a beautiful garden attraction set in the rolling Devon countryside before ending our afternoon in Great Torrington with its tea rooms and local shops.

Return Journey

On the return journey we enjoy a light refreshment stop and lunch stop included.

The Dilkhusa Grand Hotel enjoys a superb position overlooking the seafront in Ilfracombe, one of North Devon's most popular coastal resorts. Combining Victorian character with comfortable accommodation and entertainment, the hotel is an ideal base for exploring North Devon, Exmoor and the beautiful surrounding coastline.

• There is a lift in the hotel.

• The lift serves all floors except the 4th floor.

• There is 1 accessible bedroom available.

• Ground floor rooms are available, although rooms 7-10 can only be accessed via a flight of stairs.

• Rooms with walk-in showers are available.

• Walk-in showers have a small lip/step.

• The restaurant is accessible via the lift, although there are 6 steps down into the dining room. A stairlift is available to assist guests with limited mobility.

• Some areas of the hotel do have unavoidable steps.
