Outward Journey

We leave Lancashire and travel to our hotel in Perth. We stop on the way for an included lunch. Upon arrival at the Salutation Hotel, enjoy a pre-dinner Festive Fizz reception followed by a delicious 3 course carvery-style meal.

Our Days Out

We visit the amazing city centre of Edinburgh with its Christmas Markets where we spend the day amongst the festive fauna, lost in the handicrafts and mulled wine.
Another special day takes House of Bruar & Pitlochry Known as the "Harrods of the Highlands", the House of Bruar is a renowned Scottish shopping destination set amidst the stunning Perthshire countryside. Browse an impressive range of Scottish gifts, luxury clothing, cashmere, tweeds, crafts and speciality foods, or simply soak up the festive atmosphere as the store is transformed with beautiful seasonal displays and Christmas decorations. Afterwards, continue to the charming town of Pitlochry, where you can enjoy time at leisure exploring its independent shops, cafes and picturesque streets in the heart of Highland Perthshire.

Enjoy a leisurely morning in the heart of Perth, Scotland's former capital city. With the Salutation Hotel ideally located in the city centre, you'll have time at leisure to browse the shops, discover the city's rich heritage, relax in one of the many cafés, or take a stroll along the picturesque banks of the River Tay.
In the afternoon, return to Perth for a sumptuous 'festive-themed' Mini Afternoon Tea with gingerbread and a gin cocktail at the hotel.

The Salutation Hotel is a historic hotel located in the heart of Perth, Scotland's former capital city. Dating back to 1699 and reputed to be the oldest established hotel in Scotland, it combines traditional hospitality with comfortable accommodation and is an ideal base for exploring Perth and the surrounding area.

Accessibility

• There are no steps to the dining room.

• There is a lift in the hotel.

• The lift does not serve all bedrooms and some bedrooms are only accessible via stairs.

• There are no ground floor bedrooms.

• Two accessible twin bedrooms are available.

• Walk-in showers are available in approximately 29 bedrooms.

• Walk-in showers have a small lip/step.

• The main restaurant is fully accessible with no stairs or steps.
