Outward Journey

Depart from your home area in the morning travelling to Darlington, and arrive late afternoon at the Blackwell Grange Hotel, where you will be greeted on arrival with refreshments.

Our Day Out

After breakfast, head out to visit the Locomotion Museum. Immerse yourself in railway history and get up close to icons of the tracks at Europe’s largest undercover display of heritage railway vehicles! Discover the engines that revolutionised travel and shaped the world as we know it. In the afternoon, we enjoy free time in the ancient and historic city of Durham, acclaimed as a World Heritage Site and dominated by the magnificent Norman cathedral and castle sitting high above the River Wear.

First Evening

Grab a pre-dinner drink before tonight’s evening meal, including a complementary glass of wine and followed by our first night of entertainment.

Second Evening

Enjoy a pre-dinner drink to kick off ‘Gala Night’. Consisting of a 4-course dinner, including a complementary glass of wine and our 2nd night of entertainment.

Return Journey

After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
