Outward Journey

We make our way to beautiful Cambridgeshire, pausing en route for lunch before arriving at the Delta Marriott Huntingdon Hotel in the late afternoon. Here, we settle in for a relaxing 4-night stay with dinner, bed and breakfast included.

Our Days Out

A memorable visit to Cambridge awaits, with time to enjoy this world-famous university city and its elegant architecture. We include a chauffeured punt along the picturesque River Cam, offering wonderful views of the iconic college buildings, while strawberries and cream add an extra touch of indulgence to this classic Cambridge experience.
We also discover the historic Roman city of St Albans, where there will be time to admire its impressive cathedral and browse the traditional market. Later, we continue to the fascinating RAF Museum in Hendon, home to an outstanding collection of aircraft and aviation history.
Another highlight is a visit to Newmarket, renowned as the home of horseracing, where we explore the heritage of the 'Sport of Kings' at the National Horse Racing Centre. We then continue to the charming city of Ely, with time to enjoy its historic streets, medieval buildings and magnificent cathedral, affectionately known as 'The Ship of the Fens'.

Return Journey

After a final breakfast, we bid farewell to Cambridgeshire and begin our journey home, stopping on the way for lunch, taking with us fond memories of a delightful break.
