Chatsworth at Christmas

Itinerary

Depart in the morning travelling the short journey to Nottinghamshire, arriving at The West Retford Hotel shortly after midday for an included light lunch of soup and sandwiches with tea and coffee on arrival. We can then check in for our 2-night stay and relax before our evening meal. Spend the evening as you please and after breakfast in the morning we make the short journey to Bakewell. Here we have time to look around the town and enjoy a coffee break, perhaps with a slice of Bakewell Tart from the Original Pudding Shop. We leave around midday for Chatsworth House, delightfully decorated for Christmas, where we have chance to obtain lunch before exploring the house, with opportunity to visit the shop which will be well stocked with seasonal gifts. You may wish to end the day with a well-deserved cuppa in the café before we return to the hotel for our evening meal. After breakfast on Sunday, we leave and begin our journey home.
