Itinerary
We leave Lancashire and head to our hotel in Harrogate where we enjoy lunch on arrival. We have time to settle in before we enjoy our evening meal. We have a day out to the spectacular Castle Howard with its iconic and beautiful interior in the House and Great Hall. We enjoy a day at leisure where you get to enjoy Harrogate with its famous eateries and boutique shops. Another full day takes us on a guided tour of the Helmsley Walled Gardens, a historic garden with vibrant borders, glass houses and apple orchards with the afternoon visiting the World of James Herriot. Our half a day out enjoys a cream tea at the beautiful Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate. After breakfast on our final day, we head home with a leg stretch stop in Skipton.

The Cedar Court hotel has an ideally location in the heart of historic Harrogate, offering exceptional accommodation overlooking 200 acres of the pristine stray parkland. The property is a historical site, dating back to 1671 and sitting on the location of the town’s first-ever hotel. The hotel offers modern facilities and is only a quick stroll away from some of the must-visit attractions in the city centre. These include the famous Betty’s Tea Room, unique Moorish-style Turkish Baths and Harrogate Theatre, and nearby Knaresborough.
