Itinerary

We depart from Lancashire and stop en route for lunch before heading to Cairnryan to catch our ferry over to Belfast (we suggest grabbing a bite to eat on board). This afternoon we arrive at the Lodge Hotel with time to settle in prior to dinner. We have three-day excursions throughout this holiday.

• The Old Bushmills Distillery, the world’s oldest licenced working distillery in County Antrim and where Bushmills Irish Whiskey is made. Here we enjoy a guided tour (please note, there are numerous steps and stairs).

• We visit the extraordinary Giant’s Causeway and its award-winning Visitor Centre where we learn about the mystery of this unique landscape. With dramatic cliffs and crashing waves, it is easy to fall under the spell of this legendary place. We then enjoy a scenic drive along the mighty Causeway Coastal Route, admiring the spectacular views as we go.

• We head to Derry for the day, where we enjoy a fascinating 2-hour guide and walking tour "unlocking the walled City" as we discover tails of 400 years from past to present of the city.

• Finally, Glenarm Castle & the Antrim Coast Road, one of Northern Ireland’s oldest and most beautiful estates, Glenarm Castle. We enjoy a self-guided visit to explore the beautiful walled garden in its incomparable setting by the sea before we return to our hotel along the spectacular Antrim coast.

After breakfast on the final day, we make our journey home, maybe grab something to eat onboard. We also enjoy refreshments in a further stop on our way back to Lancashire.
