Itinerary

We leave Lancashire and head to Scotland with breakfast and refreshments on the outward journey. We arrive at our hotel late afternoon and settle in ready for our cocktail reception in the evening. Our holiday includes 1 and a half day excursions. One of our full days out includes a day to Aviemore in the corner of the majestic Cairngorms National Park with free time to explore the popular destination with beautiful scenery and an abundance of things to do. Aviemore has a great selection of shops, eateries, and attractions. After our full morning, we head to the amazing Cairngorm Reindeer Centre, Britain’s only free ranging reindeer herd, in the Cairngorm Mountains. Here we enjoy a talk and tour of the paddocks. After a leisurely breakfast, our exciting half day out takes us to the mysterious Loch Ness Visitor Centre where you can walk through 500 million years of history, Scottish Myths, and legends. The afternoon is free to enjoy the hotel and all its facilities. Our days out include a delicious, packed lunch, made by the hotel. We also have plenty of free time to explore Inverness or relax in our spa hotel, on free days lunch is provided in the hotel, they are also providing afternoon tea with cream scones. The city of Inverness boasts several historic buildings in the Old Town that can be appreciated while browsing city shops. Our festive entertainment package includes Christmas celebrations with a legendary Christmas jumper competition, and a fabulous Scottish Hogmanay party! After breakfast on our final day, our return journey includes a refreshment stop in Stirling with a further meal stop in Gretna.
